MED Training and Consulting is a subsidiary of JF Arms Company.

Who Are We

MED Training and Consulting offers medical and trauma training for civilians, first responders, LEO, and military personnel. Our lead instructor has over 9 years of experience as a prehospital paramedic. We strive for provide each student with the best training possible so during critical times they will be able to provide the care needed to save the life of their loved ones, friends, and or innocent victims. Along with providing training classes, we will be offering non custom and custom first aid kit (IFAK) to suit your ever growing first aid needs. 

Our Instructors

Our Lead Instructor- Andy Grote

Andy is a National Registered and Indiana licensed paramedic since 2011. He also holds certifications in Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, Advance Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Life Support, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, Domestic Terrorism, Hazmat, and large scale Mass Causality Events. Along with being a paramedic full time, he has experience as a tactical medic and special event medic. He is also the Co-Instructor for JFAC Training and Consulting’s Fire Arms Courses.

Co- Instructor Jon Fuhrman:

Jon has been in EMS for 7 years. He worked for Adams County EMS from 2013 until 2015 when he went to Wells County EMS.  Jon is also the owner and lead instructor of JFAC Training & Consulting. 

MED Courses

Stop the Bleeding course is designed for civilians and first repsonders and gives them the knowledge and understanding of how to control both major and minor blood loss (hemorrhage) through the application of a tourniquet, wound packing, and direct pressure. The course will also explain the stages of shock and why preventing blood loss is so critical in saving a life. Each student will also be taught the TCCC (Tactical combat casualty care) acronym MARCH to help them remember a basic treatment plan during high stressed situations.

 Cost is $25.00

Course Length: 60 to 90 min

Course Size: Min of 4 students and a Max of 15


 Dates: 

April 17th- 6:30 pm at Spokesmen Cycling- Roanoke, IN

May 27th- 6:30 pm at JFAC Training & Consulting

July 17th- 6:30 pm at Spokesmen Cycling- Roanoke, IN

August 19th- 6:30 pm at JFAC Training & Consulting


* MED Stop the Bleed first aid kits are available for purchase during class.

**Additional courses will be added at a later date. 

***Private courses are available for groups 8 and larger

MED 101 is a basic life support class that will give each student the knowledge to recognize life threatening medical emergency and how to handle those situations. Topics covered are: patient assessment, treatment of medical and trauma patients, and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Once the course is complete each student be able to take the American Heart Association Heart Saver, First aid, CPR, AED test and, if passed, obtain certification.

Cost: $120.00 (AHA Fees included)

Course Length:  5 to 6 hours

Course Size: Min of 2 Students and Max of 10

Care Under Fire is taught at all of the JFAC Training & Consulting firearms course. It gives the students a brief overview of TCCC (Tactical combat casualty care) and how it applies to everyday events. The students will gain knowledge how to self-treat and render medical care during firearm related events. Care Under Fire has a classroom and range portions.
